It's that time of the year again that everybody make their list of what best/worst and of course I'm joining in! The only difference is that I'm not a professional reviewer/criticus/whatever but I listed everything based on my own liking. Beside, 2012 been an exciting year for me because I got a lot of lessons about music industry around the world. So for this year I'm going to make a different list for what's my favorite from 2012 and what I've found in 2012 but not exactly from this year!
For this list also I'm not gonna put it in any particular order, except for the top 10. Hope you like it :)
It's really be a great few months on my playlist. With so many artist around the world releasing new material I just can't catch up! You know, these past few months I've been listening to Perfume. Everyday, everyweek, Perfume is the only music that I've heard that times. And now, I want to share a little bit of my new playllist!
Look at that, can you believe that? The most hated song by the fans, the most generic song by them and yet has the best choreography and the 2nd best crowd-pleasure (after FAKE IT) song!
Just look! The dances, I can believe that. It's beautiful yet strong yet difficult! I can do the tutting on the 2nd chorus but yes that's all.
Just look at them, that was dance! Dare you to try the dance! And if you said that Perfume can dance, please go kill yourself.

Well basically there's nothing woW-ing besides the 360 camera angle and the outside shot (!) of the three goddesses in years! Let me see... after Kasuka na Kaori.. oh it really not years, just a year.
I'm just wondering how they manage to planning global expansion while the staff still uploading Short Version of their PV. Like, not everybody (count me in huhu) can afford their Global Compilation: LOVE THE WORLD. The LE in Rupiah are about 430K, and that shit was expensive as hell (at least for me, a student, well).

Earlier Today, Perfume's newest single has leaked to the world wide web because of the earlier sale in Japan. And you know? For whom who can not afford Samt yet, it's heaven for me... AND OF COURSE FOR THE ENTIRE FANDOM TOO YEAH.
As I already stated, I'm FUCKING IN LOVE with Spending all my damn time! And it's already on my 1st top played songs on iTunes. Then comes THE AMAZING Hurly fucking Burly. Then not so far after HB, POINT placed. omg. I love this single so much.
Well, despite the fact that I love this single so much, still I feel not so satisfied. Spending all my time is a pure generic dance-pop, mainstream, the ugly duckling froom this single while it is the A-Side. POINT, not sure why I'm imagining Kyary sing several part on it, but the capsule's reminiscent is help this song a lot (at least for me). Meanwhile, Hurly Burly, is too long, the last part of the song is kinda let me down actually.
BUT heLL YEAH I STILL LOOOOVE DIS SINGLE SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is their best single package after Spice in my opinion! That's all, i said, THEIR FUCKING BEST SINGLE PACKAGE!

Perfume finally reveal Spending all my time (the song) on their Perfume LOCKS radio segment today. And you know what? The song is so FUCKINGA-mazing! It looks like they're really serious about going global, eventhought they're using something so generic type of music. But I don't care, I like it, and it DOES have a Perfume's signature and Nakata's so I don't care.

About 15 minutes ago Perfume's has releases their cover art for their still-unknown-single Spending all my time! The covers follow the concept of Spring of Life and also prove UMJ commitment to change Perfume's image into futuristic-techno doll looking group!
At first I don't really like it, but on second look and third and go on go on........ I LIKE IT! Maybe because I like simplicity design the most hahaha I LOVE the FONT, and the fact that they wearing uniforms and NOCCHi wearing SKIRT! My life is complete.......

The title is Spending all my time with coupling song POINT and Halle BerryHurly Burly!!!! *brb dying* I have a feeling that Spending all my time will be a perfect summer song and kinda pop-ish while Hurly Burly is a club-ready song and more techno-ish from what I've heard in the Hurly Burly CM Making;

And for POINT, well, it IS Drum&Bass but I'm curios about it!
It's not a secret anymore that, recently I keep posting about Perfume. And I can't help that i love them so much hahaha. And, i want to share my thought about Perfume's single. Perfume has 20 singles. 2 of them were the Hiroshima(local) debut singles, 3 from Indies era and 15 from their Major Label debut.
You must know that Perfume released their singles in a Japanese Market way on releasing single, not like many of western/modern musicians nowadays (or Digitally). They're releases all of their singles in a CD Package with the main song as an A-Side and coupling song as a B-Sides then some bonuses like original instrumental or extended mix. And every singles has their own style, even in the end some of these singles will end up in an album.
What I like in every Perfume's singles are, the concept. The concept of their singles are so unique, the could stand as a single and when it end up on an album, somehow it'll perfectly suit. Then here my list of Perfume's best singles package!
1. ELECTRO WORLD (エレクトロ・ワールド)

Electro World was released in their Major Debut era, their last single before Complete Best album. In this era, Perfume being crowned as a "near future technopop unit". And Electro World picture this image perfectly. Electro World is a solid single. Their single cover, PV or Promotional Video for the A-Sides, even the B-Side Wonder2 is strong enough to be an A-Side. Despite the lack of CD sales, Electro World, without a doubt is one of their best single (and favorite) among their fans.

2. POLYRHYTHM (ポリリズム)
Polyrhythm Cover (Right Regular Edition, Left Limited Edition+DVD)
Polyrhythm is their best single package, and i mean it! The A-Side, the B-Side, the PV, the cover and the history behind it releases which make this single is the best. Polyrhythm itself is the best techno-pop I ever heard, the song is so catchy, the bridge, the polyrhytmic part is AWESOME, and the PV is beautiful. The B-Side, SEVENTH HEAVEN, I don't know why it left-out for GAME album, SEVENTH HEAVEN is an amazing dance track! It's so fun, dancable, the lyrics, and somehow, this song make me sad ._. Along with Electro World, Polyrhythm is always be a part of their setlist concert up until now.

3. SPICE (スパイス)
First of all, I will never understand why is everyone underrated about Spice. Well, I know that Spice is less 'fast' than GLITTER but come one, how come Spice can be the A-Side if Spice is not good? In other hand, despite the controversy around it released, Spice is a solid single package. The A-Side is solid and the B-Side is strong enough to be an A-Side. Both of them has a beautiful PV, hte dances are awesome and their image for the single is different, the fact that they're becoming sexy and more mature. The A-Side itself offer a new side of Perfume. And I think, Spice is Perfume best single coming from JPN.
1. Spring of Life! Perfume's newest single will be released tomorrow (based on my own datetime)! YEAY! Honestly, I can't help to listen to the single and I AM IN LOVE. Great job, girls! Hope it will get to it place, #1 spot!

I'm so excited about this single from late february till now. And when The PV droped, I'm even more excited!
The main story is Perfume as android or robot, want to feel what is love like and springing their life. But, the ending is really unexpected for me. And, despite the happy sounding this song, the PV is extremely sad for me (at least the ending).
For me, I have 2 opinion about the ending, First, The girls can not live their life as human if they're not together (that means, Perfume is nothing without one of them) and even though they're trying to be human, they ARE robots after all, they can't be human even they want it so bad.........

Perfume, Japanesse techno-pop group has started their mission to destroy our earth be a global act. And now, their first single under UMJ (Universal Music Japan) and in 2012 so far, has drop in full! The single itself will have 4 tracks (also include 2 instrumental, as usual) along side the single (A-side) and the unknown B-side.

This morning, suddenly I had made a playlist on my iPod named 'Nyantai' (it means similiar to relax/relaxed). Sooooo the songs I put on it were the shooting and calming type of songs. Here's the list :

So, in conclusion, if you really look closely, some of them didn't really have a 'calming' or 'smooth' instrument at all. Like in so many Perfume's songs, Ke$ha's and Britney's. But, the point is, calming song doesn't have to be a swing, soul or acoustic type to calms you. Then again, it depend on what your taste of music is. So, be true to what you want to hear, not what mainstream or what everybody heard! :)
Do you know them? No? Okay, I will introduce them to you...
They are PERFUME! Idol group trio from Japan. (From left to right) A-Chan, Nocchi and Kashiyuka. They are about 23-24 years old and are the biggest electro-pop/techno/female group in Japan after Speed with only formed about 10 years ago and debuted 5 years ago.
And I knew them for about several weeks ago by accident and, now, I'm totaly in love with them! I mean.... I did some research before I make this and decide I 'love' them then I got something interesting..... They always (not always like 'every' but almost on every songs) lipsyncing. AND IT DOESN'T EVEN BOTHER ME! Why? Because, actually, I hate lipsyncing singer so much but with them? I just can't.
When I saw their live tour, the MC part actually (When the group talk to the crowd) they're seems happy, enjoy it, honest, even with their Tokyo Dome concert (They first Tokyo Dome concert, only prestigious artist/musicians can do a concert in there. ONLY. PRESTIGIOUS. ARTIST.) in the last MC for Encore, they were crying :(((((( And, well, I think that was cute and sometimes when an artist being so big, they will forgot about their root and yeah you know what I mean, aren't you?
Skip about that, I just want to recommend PERFUME to all of you guys who came to visit my blog! They're already released 3 original album called GAME, ⊿ (Triangle) and JPN and a lot lot lot of singles. REMEMBER! THEIR GENRE IS TECHNO/ELECTROPOP! SO, IF YOU EXPECTING SOMETHING LIKE BEYONCE, CHRISTINA AGUILERA, CELINE DION OR EVEN SOMETHING LIKE RIHANNA AND KATY PERRY, GO AWAY :D And you have to bare with the auto-tune because.... just enjoy the music!

NB : Oh, ya, Recently, because Perfume, I just thought that..... whatever the music called, whatever the genre is, we can't compare or judge the songs/singers because what they produce. Because, every musics was made for different ears. You might be like that, you might be hate this, but you know, sometimes music was made to fill some moment in our lives, whether you like it or not. And you have to admit, even the worst song in this whole world, if they had a good beat, you'll start shaking your hands, your toe your anything else and enjoy the things, right? So, I just want to say, let's appreaciate every musics, songs, because music was made to make our life feels alive :)
